AI Designs High-Fashion Sports Cars

AI Designs High-Fashion Sports Cars

Cars and designer items often signify wealth and style, but they don’t usually mix… until now. How would iconic cars look if they were made by legendary fashion houses like Dior, Gucci, or Chanel?

Prime Casino has found the answers. We’ve taken the most popular sports car brands worldwide and asked AI to reimagine them in the style of luxury designers.

Maserati, If It Were Designed By Gucci

Gucci is renowned for its distinctive patterns and bold use of colour, so what else would be on a Maserati if they collaborated? The car's exterior would be wrapped in Gucci's signature interlocking G pattern, with a textured finish giving the impression of the car being covered in fabric.

A green and red stripe — another Gucci hallmark — would sweep along the car's centre, adding a pop of colour and unmistakable brand identity.

Porsche, If It Were Designed By Dior

If Dior’s designers were able to get their hands on a Porsche, the result could look something like this: The car would be covered in a light pink that is ever-present in Dior's classic palette, with floral appliqués cascading down the side.

The wheels, a deep contrast in black, would still bear Porsche’s famous badge to connect the two brands.

Bugatti, If It Were Designed By Louis Vuitton

This Bugatti and Louis Vuitton collaboration is the epitome of luxury — it's as if the world's most coveted handbag were transformed into a sports car.

The recognisable Bugatti silhouette would have Louis Vuitton's legendary monogram pattern, which would wrap the entire vehicle in brown and gold. The distinctive Bugatti horseshoe grille would also be outlined in gold, similar to the hardware of some of Louis Vuitton's most sought-after handbags, purses, and belts.

Ferrari, If It Were Designed By Chanel

A Ferrari and Chanel collection could be as timeless and elegant as a little black dress. The car would be primarily black, but the golden accents would evoke Chanel's classic chain straps and jewellery.

Another of Chanel’s motifs is quilted fabric, which can be seen on the bonnet of this supercar and could be included throughout the vehicle's interior.

Pagani, If It Were Designed By YSL

The Pagani and Yves Saint Laurent collaboration could have a sleek and aerodynamic design, typical of Pagani's regular sports cars.

However, this is where the classic design would end, and YSL’s bold use of colour begins. The vehicle's body would be covered with a striking, multi-coloured pattern of geometric shapes, including red, yellow, blue, white, and black blocks. This takes inspiration from YSL’s Mondrian dresses, presented in the autumn-winter 1965 collection, which were described as "revolutionary" by Women's Wear Daily.

BMW, If It Were Designed By Hermes

A BMW designed by Hermes would be quite a striking sports car. The smooth curves of the regular BMW model would remain the same, but the paintwork would mimic the leather texture of the iconic Birkin bag and, of course, be in the brand’s signature orange.

Lamborghini, If It Were Designed By Louboutin

Perhaps the fiercest car included is the Louboutin-designed Lamborghini. The exterior would be a sleek and polished black with vibrant red accents running along the edges, reminiscent of Louboutin's signature red soles.

What’s most striking, though, are the spikes along the wheel arches and roof, which would give the car the feel of Louboutin’s edgy designs.

McLaren, If It Were Designed By Versace

A collaboration between McLaren and Versace is sure to be a showstopper. According to AI, the car's exterior would have an intricate baroque-inspired design against a black base, with matching gold wheel rims.

Of course, the gold patterns would feature the iconic Medusa emblem, synonymous with Versace's luxurious aesthetic.

Mustang, If It Were Designed By Alexander McQueen

If the designers at Alexander McQueen were brought in to design a Ford Mustang, this is what AI thinks it would look like.

It would be a metallic red paint job with a matte finish, with fabric-like additions to the wheel arches, resembling draped satin. This, alongside the gold flower design in the grille, gives the car a sculptural, avant-garde look that McQueen is known for.

Aston Martin, If It Were Designed By Valentino

Ever wondered what an Aston Martin would look like if designed by Valentino? Well, here you are! The base colour would be none other than Valentino red, but with a glitter effect to make it stand out even more — a clear nod to the glamour and drama in Valentino's creations.

Methodology

Using Midjourney and various prompts, we asked AI to produce images of what car brands would look like if they used luxury designers’ branding.
